Must Follow Bookstagrammers #1

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but I’ve trying to revive my sort-of on hiatus bookish Instagram account these past few days. I’ve returned to my hobby of taking bookish photos and editing them–you know the drill.

Anyway, I’ve also been trying to go around looking for more bookstagram accounts to follow. I mean, looking at books all day? I’m a-okay with that, so the more, the marrier! :)

And to help you guys get your bookish photo fix, I’m going to share eight bookstagram accounts that you must follow. This’ll be part one of many, since there are so many great book photographers I want to talk about! So without further ado, here are the ones I’m going to talk about today (in alphabetical order):

1. @_forevermint

Cherry’s photographs are all gorgeously bright and have a specific color scheme to follow. Most of theme are pastel colors and are extra adorable! Some of her photos also include some fashionable outfit pairings!

2. @abookishloveaffair

Allissa’s accounts is one of my absolute all-time favorites! The lighting is just spot-on, angles are amazing, quality is great, props work with the phot–just follow this girl, yeah? Her photos are just the whole package.

3. @bookishshelf

Kat’s photos are all of excellent quality, with a smooth filter and gorgeous depth of field. And those books-on-trees pictures? She NAILS them!

4. @infinitelynovel

Kate’s photos are bright, clear and super adorable. Her positioning and balance are right on point. She also has the cutest props (lots of Funko Pop figures)!

5. @myreadingdress

Jess’ photos have lovely lighting to set the mood, fabulous depth of field and quality, and super cute ang girly props (nail polish is awesome), as well as some delicious ones, too (go food!)!

6. @fictionnotfriends

Talia’s gallery is a has a nice mix of simple and sophisticated photographs. What they all have in comon, though, is glorious quality and wonderful color balance. Also awesome positioning and props (when applicable).

7. @youngadultbookaddict

Tracey’s photos are so full and with so many things going on, but still manage to look clean and gorgeous with a clean mixture of various props that match the books featured in each photo.

8. @whatgeorgiedid

A photo posted by GEORGIE. (@whatgeorgiedid) on

Georgie’s photos are all simple, but with amazing lighting and positioning that makes all her pictures look elegant and extremely professional. And that depth of field… Goals.

And that’s it for this edition of must follow bookstagrammers! And because I have no shame whatsoever, I’m subtly letting you guys know that you can find my Instagram account @aimeereads.

These are AMAZING. I seriously just went and followed every single one, and went on a “liking” spree. I am so in love with bookstagram, I just wish I had more places to do it! I think that’s my biggest problem- I have a cluttered space with crappy lighting, and I am too scared to take the books on a field trip ;) Is it bad that I don’t know the names of my favorite accounts? I just know “ahhh more pretties!”. LOVE this post, thanks so much for sharing all of these :D

YES TO ALL OF THESE. I’m becoming addicted to bookstagram! I’ve never really been into photography but after seeing all these amazing book photos and realising that I could combine photography and my books I was like YASS, let’s do this. I follow most of these but there’s a couple I don’t, so I’m off to follow them now!

Also, your photos are GORGEOUS, Aimee! :)
